NOTICE

Sub: SAM-SLNSD – Proposed auction of Human Hair Collection and Disposal Rights for the year 2026-27 ending 31.03.2027 – Auction proceedings dated 22.05.2026 Recording of events and closure of proceedings – Reg.

It is hereby notified that SAM-SLNSD had scheduled and conducted an open auction on 22.05.2026 for grant of Human Hair Collection and Disposal Rights for the period ending 31.03.2027, with an upset price fixed at ₹150.00 Lakhs.

At the commencement of the auction proceedings, certain participants who had submitted Expressions of Interest (EOI) entered into negotiations/discussions seeking reduction, modification and relaxation of the upset price and auction conditions.

Despite adequate opportunity being afforded by the Devasthanam authorities to participate in the bidding process, no participant came forward to place a valid bid at or above the notified upset price.

Accordingly, in the absence of any valid bid being offered in the auction, the auction proceedings stood aborted and closed without allotment of rights to any party.

It is further clarified that:

  • • No participant shall derive or claim any right, entitlement or preferential consideration merely by virtue of participation in the EOI process or attendance in the auction proceedings.
  • •
    SAM-SLNSD reserves absolute discretion and authority to:
    • ○ re-notify the auction;
    • ○ revise or retain the upset price;
    • ○ alter the terms and conditions;
    • ○ adopt any other mode of disposal permissible in law;
    • ○ postpone, defer or cancel the process entirely, without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

The decision of SAM-SLNSD in all matters relating to the auction process shall be final and binding on all participants.

This notice is issued to place the factual position on record and to avoid any misunderstanding or unauthorized claims arising out of the aborted auction proceedings.
